Soogi Roll

Soogi Roll brings the atmosphere and character of its previous location into a new space without losing its original soul. References to the hanok and cheong-maru are translated through raised seating, timber surfaces, filtered displays, lantern lighting, and intimate dining zones adapted to Canggu’s tropical setting.

Tatami-inspired seating, communal tables, planters, calligraphy, photographs, and a terracotta-tile bar preserve the restaurant’s familiar, layered identity. Existing furniture and selected elements were adapted and reused, while new benches, wall panels, cabinetry, lighting, and joinery create a flexible and welcoming interior that feels both familiar and renewed.
